We are looking for a Backend Engineer who will work closely with our AI Engineer to turn models into reliable, scalable, production-ready systems.
This is a high-impact role where you will own the backend architecture powering our AI products – from APIs to deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems for AI-powered applications.
Develop and manage APIs to serve machine learning models.
Collaborate closely with AI Engineers to deploy and optimize models in production.
Build and manage data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage.
Ensure performance, reliability, and security of backend services.
Integrate third-party tools, client systems, and external APIs.
Monitor, debug, and improve system performance and uptime.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or similar backend languages.
Experience building RESTful APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Express, etc.).
Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
Understanding of asynchronous processing / queues (Celery, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Experience with system design and scalable architecture.
