Description
The Media Content Strategist is responsible for planning, developing, and managing content across various media platforms to engage target audiences, drive brand awareness, and support business objectives.
This role combines creativity, data analysis, and strategic thinking to ensure content is impactful, consistent, and aligned with overall marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy across digital and traditional media channels (social media, websites, blogs, email, video, etc
Plan and manage content calendars to ensure timely and consistent delivery
Collaborate with creative teams (designers, writers, videographers) to produce high-quality content
Optimize content for SEO and platform-specific performance
Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies accordingly
Manage content distribution and promotion strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
Proven experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or media planning
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights)
Basic knowledge of SEO and content optimization techniques
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
