We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reliable and scalable software applications while working closely with other members of the team to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Work with databases to design, optimize, and maintain data storage solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
Collaborate with product, design, and other technical teams to develop new features.
Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
Implement application security, performance, and scalability best practices.
Use version control systems such as Git for source code management.
Write and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems.
Monitor and improve application performance and reliability.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with 2–5 years of experience.
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Experience with software development frameworks such as .NET, Node.js, React, Angular, or similar technologies.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), testing, debugging, and deployment.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD, or microservices is an added advantage.
Salary
N200.000 – N300,000 per month.
